Notification Declining Balance LNG Cards

CB Leaders - please be sure to share this information with your entire CB Team

As, I am sure you remember, a few months back Ken Widelka, AADE COO spoke to us on a CB and LNG Briefing Call and we talked about retiring the LNG Declining Balance Credit Cards that were issued over 5 years ago. According to our records many of the LNGs are not actively using the cards but are processing their expenses through AADE.

When we first negotiated with Chase Bank for these cards we knew it was going to be on a limited time basis and the bank is now suggesting that we retire those cards.
As of January 1, 2016 the LNG Declining Balance Credit Cards will be deactivated.

The funds that were available to you via the Declining Balance Credit Card have always been included in the LNG Total Fund Balance as reported on your monthly financial reports. You will not see a change in the reporting of your Fund Balance - you just will not see a line item for Declining Balance Credit Card Balance in the 2016 Financial Reports.

Of course it will be business as usual – LNGs, like the CBs, will pay for expenses and then be reimbursed once a reimbursement form and receipts are sent to AADE for processing.

The turnaround time for expenses being processed and paid are 7-10 business days.

For larger expenses, related to events and programs, AADE staff will be available to assist in processing these payments via an AADE corporate card. You would simply need to contact

Pati Mangano at  This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it   or 800-338-3633 FREE x 4822 to have the payment processed.

Please let us know if you have any questions or concerns regarding this change.

Thank you

Ronald Wadley, AADE Controller
